Shopping centre's "Alfa" new parking house celebrated at the topping out ceremony

The construction of the new multi-storey parking house of the «Alfa» was started in April this year. Upon commissioning, which is planned in the near future, the parking house will supplement the already existing parking facilities with about 500 new spaces. Real estate news

"We are pleased to announce the successful progress of our plan to develop a second parking house for "Alfa". The new house will be connected to the existing one and increase the parking capacity and convenience for our customers before the upcoming Christmas sales. The parking facilities around “Alfa” will be further improved in due time before the opening of the expanded center next summer," said Frode Grønvold, CEO of "Linstow Center Management".

The new parking house will be housed in three floors with a total area of ~15 000 m2. The first floor will have parking space for 139 cars, the second one – 165, and the third – 175. The rotation of cars going up and down will be constructed similarly to the existing parking facilities, which visitors have rated as one of the most comfortable parking houses. The new parking house floors will be connected to the already existing parking house, providing convenient and well-known access to the shops in the shopping centre, thus providing visitors with the opportunity to park their car conveniently so they can find the best surprises for the most wonderful time of the year – Christmas. A separate entrance from Stāmerienas street will be constructed for delivery transport.

Construction of the expansion plan of the "Alfa" shopping park was started a year ago – in October 2017. Within the framework of this project, two new buildings will be built – an extension to the existing shopping park, extending it by about 20,000 m2 and a new parking house. The project also entails the reconstruction of the existing parking facilities, making them more functional and suitable to modern requirements.
