Number of real estate transactions in Estonia grew 15 pct in Q1

During the first three months of 2013, the number of real estate transactions carried out in Estonia was by 1,124 (by 14.7 per cent) more, writes the National Broadcasting.

The total amount involved in the transactions grew by 18.6 per cent in the year-on-year comparison.

Statistics compiled by the Land Board revealed that a total of 8,749 purchase and sale transaction with real estate were carried out in the first quarter, with the total worth of 423.6 million euros.

During the same period of time in 2012, the relevant indicators were 7625 transactions and the total cost of 357.1 million euros.

In the City of Tallinn, the total worth of real estate transactions carried out in the first quarter grew by 38.5 per cent in the year-on-year comparison, amounting to 221.1 million euros.
