Real estate developer Hepsor will start construction of a new
apartment building in Agenskalns, in a block between Ernestines,
Kapselu and Balozu streets, in autumn 2020. Within the framework of
the project, the existing building will be demolished and a new
three-story building with 18 apartments will be built in its place,
preserving the appearance of the historic building.
The appearance of the historic building
on Balozu Street has changed over time according to preferences of
existing owners. In respect towards history and characteristic
buildings of Agenskalns, the new building will preserve the old
exterior and various exterior details, including the appealing tower
part. The new part of the building will be dominated by ascetic
shapes, which will perfectly form the overall appearance of the
building. Concrete construction building is designed with natural wood
finish and complemented with modern materials - tin and metal.
The building will have 18
two-, three- and four-room apartments with high-quality finishing.
Each apartment is constructed so that its owner has a place for calm
and peaceful living. A place where everyday stress and the fuss of the
city, is left behind the closed doors to find that feeling of warmth
and coziness. A place to
realize - yes, in this place my home has finally found its home.
For the convenience of the owners, the
Balozu Street 9 project will have storage facilities and 15 parking
spaces, closed yard with a playground for families with children.
“In our view, Agenskalns is perfect for people who prefer to live
in a greener neighborhood, while being very close to the city center.
The future apartment building at Balozu Street 9 is the third
“Hepsor“ project in Agenskalns. Together with the building
at 7 Balozu Street - our projects that has already been sold out - it
will give a new look to this part of Agenskalns. The unique facade
design will combine both modern and vintage style architecture, the
building will naturally fit into the surrounding building ensemble and
contribute to the preservation of the historic shapes of
Agenskalns,“ says Martti Krass, “Hepsor“ representative.
The construction of the Balozu Street 9 project will significantly improve the infrastructure of Agenskalns and offer a living environment suitable for the ever-increasing demands of the customers. It is planned to invest around 2,5 million euros in the implementation of this project. Building will be put into operation in October 2021.
Agenskalns is becoming an increasingly desired district of Riga. Shops, schools, kindergartens and transport make living comfortable, many green parks and squares provide wide opportunities for both peaceful and active recreation, making Agenskalns even more attractive, especially for families with children. The location is also advantageous - close to the center of Riga, which can be quickly reached not only by car, but also on foot or by public transport.
